In a study involving 47 participants, a whopping 89 percent reported personality changes following their surgery. These changes included changes in the preferences for food, intimacy, and even professional pursuits. Six of the 47 participants reported changes in "sexual preferences' Some transplant recipients even reported that they'd taken on the memories of their organ donors.

The hugely advanced technology allows experts to study the earliest galaxies in the universe, giving an indication of conditions from long, long ago.

Global Warming Threatens Antarctica’s Meteorites
Antarctica’s meteorites built up in stranding zones thousands of years ago, becoming embedded in ice. Today, they are usually found in “blue ice” areas — pockets where wind reveals older ice that looks blue in contrast with the continent’s large expanses of white. We found that most authors with minority-ethnicity names are significantly less likely to be mentioned than those with Anglo names. We also found that journalists are more likely to replace African and East Asian named authors with their institutions. The disparity in Press Releases outlets is particularly notable, as stories in these outlets typically reuse content from university press-releases.
