BHSU Rapid City Expands to Meet Need for Nurses
Black Hills State, South Dakota State University, Monument Health, and the West River Area Health Education Center gathered at the Rapid City BHSU campus Friday to break ground on their new health center addition. The West River Health Science Center will primarily focus on education pathways and employment resources for students in nursing right here in South Dakota. South Dakota, especially the western half of the state, is in need of more nurses.

She believes the exposures may be linked to cardiovascular issues later in life.
