Zambia said on Monday (March 25) that it had reached an agreement with a group of private creditors on restructuring $3 billion of its international bonds. Kenya Airways swung to an operating profit last year of 10.53 billion shillings, or a little over $80 million, it said on Tuesday (March 26) - its first since 2017. Nigeria is seeking an international arrest warrant after Binance's regional manager for Africa fled custody last week.

Huawei Technologies Reports Profit More Than Doubled Last Year
Chinese telecoms gear company Huawei Technologies reported its profit more than doubled last year as its cloud and digital businesses thrived in spite of U.S. sanctions. Revenue jumped nearly 10% from a year earlier, to 704.2 billion yuan ($97.4 billion) Huawei’s rotating chairman Ken Hu said the company’s figures were in line with forecasts.

Chinese telecommunications company Huawei said its net profit for 2023 more than doubled thanks to better product offerings. Net profit grew by 114.5% year-on-year to 87 billion yuan ($99.18 billion). Higher quality operations and sales of some businesses contributed to profitability as well, according to Huawei.
