GR Mitchell Inc, based in West Lampeter Township, recently announced its acquisition of East Hempfield Township-based Ironstone Building Materials. Thirteen employees will join the company, which operates a retail hardware store, showroom, offices and lumberyard/warehouse. The purchase of Ironstone did not include its Hempland Road property.
