Equatic has announced the construction of a large-scale demonstration plant for carbon capture in Singapore via a novel process of electrolysing seawater without producing chlorine. Equatic will begin operating with the capability to capture 1 metric tonne of CO2 per day in the summer of 2024 before being ramped up to ultimately be capable of removing 10 metric tonnes per day.
