Nightingale Health plc will analyze blood samples from Uganda’s General Population Cohort (GPC) The GPC is a population-based study of approximately 22,000 individuals residing in southwestern Uganda. It represents ten ethnolinguistic groupings and is the first from the region to be analyzed. The study has been widely suggested ethnic differences play a role in the development of chronic diseases due to genetic background.
