Antarctica and the Arctic are two places most inhospitable to human life, leaving them largely uninvestigated by mankind. This doesn’t mean these remote reaches of our planet are immune to anthropogenic pollution, far from it. The new systematic review published in Frontiers in Marine Science is shining a light on the consequences of this pollution on the regions’ seabirds.
