Singing is a great stress-buster Belting out a song can have a remarkable effect on stress levels, according to a study published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology. If you are singing in an environment that doesn’t make you feel anxious, singing was shown to reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol. UL research team identified 185 groups singing for health and wellbeing.
