St. Martin's de Porres Hospital in Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region has registered and renewed the health insurance cards of some 1904 people within the Krobo area. The objective of the exercise was to help people grappling with accessing basic healthcare have unrestricted access to medical care. According to him, most clients came to the facility either with no NHIS cards or expired ones.
