VaLandria Smith-Lash started a skin care business at 14 years old. She mixed shea butter and oils to create a cream to help her mom who was suffering from Lupus. By the time she graduated college at Miami University in Oxford last year, her side business became her career business, which she called ‘Coarse Culture’.
