The Kilmarie Drill - A 3 Sol Plan
On Sol 2405, we will take a MAHLI selfie of the rover, giving us a nice view of the Kilmarie drill holes and the landscape of the Glen Torridon region. We will also measure the redder portion of the drill tailings with ChemCam, which will provide a comparison with the APXS data acquired over that region. In particular, three targets are concentrated near an area where bedrock appears to transition to pebbles.

Curiosity Was Busy!
Surface Properties Scientist (SPS) was busy this week. They filled a pair of science activity blocks with observations that ranged from targeted imaging with Mastcam to compositional analysis with the ChemCam instrument. On the first planned sol, the rover will use the MAHLI instrument to take high resolution microscopic images of the Highfield "dump pile'
