McLeod Health Unveiled Plans for a Brand New Hospital in Horry County
McLeod Health unveiled its plans for a brand new hospital to serve the Carolina Forest community in a Monday ceremony. The $56 million facility will be four stories high and hold 48 beds, allowing for inpatient care. This will be the first new hospital built in Horry County since McLeed Health Seacoast, which opened in 2011.

And they talked about addressing mental health stigma for men of color. The exercises were part of a third annual mental health symposium.

Maine Public Health Alert - Ground Beef Products Contaminated With E. Coli
Hannaford Supermarkets announced Monday that the lean ground beef products sold between April 6 and 16 are possibly contaminated. The alert includes 58 stores in Maine, 27 in New Hampshire and 3 in Massachusetts. No confirmed illnesses have been reported as a result of consumption of the meat.

Care Home Residents Switching to Decaffeinated Drinks Could Save the NHS £85 Million a Year
In what is said to be a first-of-its-kind trial, residents in eight residential care homes were switched to decaf over a period of six months. According to the joint report the change resulted in a 35% reduction in toileting-related falls. If the trial were scaled up across the sector, the report says thousands of falls would be prevented and the NHS could save as much as £85 million per year.
