Measles Cases in Chicago Public Schools
Measles cases have been confirmed in two Chicago Public Schools students at two separate schools. At least one of the infected students lives at the Pilsen shelter, with the cases reported at Amour Elementary School in Bridgeport and Cooper Elementary Dual Language Academy. CPS CEO Pedro Martinez said we’re working with the communities in those schools, unlike COVID.

House Health Finance and Policy Committee Approves Minnesota Debt Fairness Act
Rep. Liz Reyer (DFL-Eagan) quoted that information from a study by the Peterson Center on Health Care while presenting HF1814 to the House Health Finance and Policy Committee. Part of the Minnesota Debt Fairness Act, the bill would establish provisions to make medical debt more manageable for Minnesotans, including individuals who have been burdened by their spouse’s medical debt.

Option Care Health said on Thursday it has been affected by the cyberattack at UnitedHealth Group's Change Healthcare unit. The company said it has not identified any compromise or unauthorized access of its systems or networks due to the incident. More than half of the company's claims for services rendered since the hack remain unprocessed, Option Care said.
