Hoof Trimming Conference
The Hoof Trimmers Association holds a Hoof Health Conference every 18 months. This year's conference was Feb. 22-24 in Orlando, Florida. There was an additional day spent on a farm where trimmers could see cows being trimmed with new equipment as well as a cadaver lab.

Jean Carlos Aponte, 40, is in critical condition at the hospital after an apparent self-induced drug overdose. On Tuesday, his wife Sara Ashley Gama, 38, and 2-year-old son, Ethan, were found dead inside their home. Police have not released how or why he allegedly killed his wife and child.

A Study on OOPHE in African Countries
Table 1 Correlation matrix and principal component analysis results We use the PCA approach to construct the quality of governance and ICT indices. The results in Panel A1 of Table 1 show evidence of high and moderate collinearity between these indicators. On average, government health expenditure accounted for only 1.60 percent of THE, with a standard deviation of 96.93 USD, indicating significant variations between countries. Countries in the final club 1 are the worst-performing among African countries regarding OOPHE per capita.
