Nottinghamshire County Council Suspends Healthy Families Contract
The Nottinghamshire Healthy Families Programme is implemented by the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) Part of the programme includes identifying children and young people who are at risk of harm, or those who need additional support. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is carrying out an urgent review of the trust’s mental healthcare following its contact with Valdo Calocane.

More Than 47,000 Military Personnel Have Been Prescribed Antidepressants in the Last Five Years
More than 47,000 military personnel have been prescribed either antidepressants or sleeping pills in the last five years. A further 73,000 serving troops have also been prescribed opioid-based painkillers, which can in some cases cause addiction. The disclosure has led to claims that some drugs are prescribed too readily to troops with mental health problems.

MSK Events in Nottinghamshire - What Matters to You?
More than 280 patients attended two events held in Mansfield and Newark. The events were organised by MSK Together, a partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Primary Integrated Community Services (PICS), NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board. Physiotherapists gave advice about MSK conditions and how to improve physical activity and independence, arranging investigations and follow-up appointments.

UNC Health Signs Long-Term Deal With UnitedHealthcare
UNC Health signed a long-term contract with UnitedHealthcare. The deal covers all patients under United's commercial, Individual Exchange and Medicare Advantage plans. “Our patients will not face increased costs and stress of going out of network or seeking new providers for their care,” a spokesperson said.
