Climate Central Study: Michigan Has Highest Rates of Weather-Related Outages
The study, conducted by Climate Central, looked at power outages that affected more than 50,000 people between 2000 and 2023. It found that Michigan had one of the highest rates of weather-related outages. Michigan appeared to be an outlier in the Midwest, having around double the weather related outages of states with similar climates like Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.

A Robbery Suspect in Custody
A robbery suspect was taken into custody Tuesday morning after leading Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies on a dangerous, high-speed chase in the South Bay. AIR7 HD was above the pursuit and captured the suspect going at least 90 mph at one point on the 405 Freeway in the Torrance/Carson area. Authorities reportedly found the suspect hiding in nearby bushes.

To further this, Illumina and the Chinese National Health Commission’s International Health Exchange and Cooperation Center (IHECC) launched the Illumina Public Health Education Scholarship. The scholarship program’s award ceremony for the 2022–23 academic year was held on March 26, 2024.

The Effects of Nanoparticles on Indoor Air Quality
Scientists have found particles altered at the 'nanoscale' can differ in important ways from the properties of the same material in aggregated form. Some nanoparticles are stronger or have different magnetic properties compared with other forms or sizes of same material. The study also showed resuspension of particles from carpets produced a higher concentration of particles than from the vinyl flooring.
