Brixx Technology is in the process of building a Toronto plant that takes industrial waste and turns it into sustainable building materials. This became possible after acquiring the land with 200-plus acres of fly ash from the Sammis Power Plant. Once operating, the process will give off 80% less co2 emissions than a traditional brick manufacturer. It will also use an autoclave to ensure no toxins can escape.
