New Members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences
Three professors at the University of California, Santa Cruz elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences this year. Lise Getoor, Karen Tei Yamashita, and Patricia Zavella are three of 250 new members elected this year and join 36 other members from UC Santa Cruz. Getoo was an early leader in the study of intersectionality for working Chicanas.
