It includes three Brown University academics: Provost Francis Doyle, Professor of Sociology Prudence Carter, and Professor of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences Greg Hirth. Doyle wrote that it was “both exciting and humbling” to hear of this nomination.

Kansas lawmakers are trying to put together a package that would pay for new stadiums for the Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. There would be temporary and targeted changes to the STAR Bonds program in order attract certain pro sports franchises, according to information released at a Monday meeting of the Conference Committee Senate and House Commerce. The teams must come from either the NBA, NHL, NFL or MLB.

This study marks a significant advance in neuroimaging studies of resilience. We hypothesized notable associations between dispositional resilience and neuroanatomical features, particularly in the GMV, CT, LGI, and WM microstructures within the MNS and DMN regions. Our findings confirm these hypotheses, showing that high resilience is associated with increased GMVs in the IFG. This adds a new dimension to our understanding of the relationship between resilience and brain structure.
