Sugar Land-based Dumpling World opened its first Texas location in the Arboretum in fall 2024. The original Sugar Land restaurant opened outside of Houston in October 2023. This Austin location is its second-ever.

NASCAR Paint Scheme Honoring the Flying Tigers and Vietnam War Veterans
Bubba Wallace’s No. 23 car will be unveiled at Dover International Speedway on April 28. Four Vietnam War veterans will also have their names on the hood of the car. The paint scheme was completed in coordination with Xfinity and the U.S. Air Force.

The World Photography Organisation has announced the overall winners of the Sony World Photography Awards 2024. French photographer Juliette Pavy claimed the coveted award for Photographer of the Year for her series Spiralkampagnen: Forced Contraception and Unintended Sterilisation of Greenlandic Women. Pavy was selected from the 10 winners in the professional category; she receives a $25,000 prize, Sony equipment, and the opportunity to present a new body of work. Princeton freshman earned an épée silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Brooke went 5-1 in pool bouts, placing 25th after that portion of the competition. In the elimination bracket, Brooke won six straight bouts to reach fhe final.
