The shutter button in the Google Lens app does not store the picture you take on your device instead, it is sent to Google for analysis, after which it disappears. This means users had to click a photo using the camera app and send it to the app for analysis. However, photos from other apps like Google Photos or the new Circle to Search feature won’t be saved.
