World Down Syndrome Day is this Thursday, March 21st and this year is all about fighting the stereotypes surrounding Down syndrome. Ashley Orndorff, director of the Down Syndrome Network of West Virginia, said WDSD was established to celebrate down syndrome. "We want people to recognize that individuals with down syndrome are valuable members of society and deserve support to help them learn, live, and thrive!"
