Romanian Lawmaker Says Russia Should Return Gold and Other Cultural Treasures to Romania During World War I

Lawmakers in the European Parliament adopted a non-binding resolution on Thursday. Romania sent 91.5 tons of gold coins and ingots to Moscow. The gold was confiscated after the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia in 1917.
