Renault has become the latest EV group to place itself on a war footing with Chinese Tesla-killer BYD. In a 19-page open letter addressed to Europe, Renault boss Luca de Meo is calling for a European fund to help speed up Europe’s transition to electric vehicles. The Marshall Plan was passed by the U.S. Congress in 1948 to help rebuild Western Europe in the wake of World War Two.
