State agencies have spent about a year coordinating plans with local officials around McCurtain County. Most in the U.S. will see only a fraction of the sun blocked out, but the Broken Bow area is in a narrow band of totality for the total solar eclipse. ODOT and OTA will be shutting down some work zones in the area to alleviate traffic issues.
