In the last Tibetan antelope breeding season, a 5G base station began operations at the Zonag Lake Protection Station in Hoh Xil, northwest China's Qinghai Province, May 29, 2023. In the past, communication with the outside world was difficult during the journey. Today, there is uninterrupted 5G signal, with the peak internet speed reaching 860 Mbps. This approach would reduce human resource input and statistical errors, thus enhancing the efficiency of ecological protection.
