Samuel Kibathi won double U20 men’s gold at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Belgrade 24. Ethiopia’s Sewmehon Anteneh made his way to the front of the pack on the second lap, followed by Simba Samuel Cherop, Sailas Rotich and Dolphine Chelimo. By the end of the second 1.9km lap, Erot led from fellow Kenyans Kipkemei and Rotich.
