Dreamline Pathways Program at ATSU in St. Louis

A group of 50 seventh and eighth-grade girls from Marian Middle School got hands-on lessons about the effects acid and sugars have on enamel. All activities were led by faculty and students at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health – part of A.T. Still University (ATSU) in St. Louis. The field lacks diversity. According to the Touro College of Dental Medicine, only 4% of U.S. dentists are black.
