The remains were reported to ISP just after noon on Wednesday. State Troopers from Troop 6 and the Division of Criminal Investigations Zone 4 are investigating along with the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office. Anyone who has information about the investigation is asked to call Zone 4 Investigations.
