Bengal has been roiled by controversies since the arrest of Shahjahan Sheikh. The Calcutta High Court has ordered the transfer of the probe into the January 5 attack on ED officials in Sandeshkhali. A CBI team, escorted by paramilitary personnel, reached the CID office in Kolkata to take custody of Sheikh, saying the matter was sub-judice.
