The State Bank of India has furnished details of the purchase and redemption of electoral bonds to the Election Commission in pursuance of the top court’s directions. The bank, as per its compliance affidavit submitted in the Supreme Court, has provided the names of the buyers of the electoral bonds, with the date of purchase and denomination of the bond. It does not say whether the unique code on each electoral bond that could be used to match each donation is part of the data.
