MHA has sanctioned a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry against Satyendar Jain, Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi prisons minister. The investigation pertains to allegations under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Jain stands accused of purportedly extorting Rs 10 crore from an inmate named Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
