The Bloomberg Billionaire Index listed Bezos as the richest person in the world with a total net worth of about $200 billion. This is the first time Musk has not been at the top of the list since 2021. The billionaire stepped down as Amazon’s CEO in 2021 to focus on other pursuits, including on his rocket company Blue Origin and philanthropy efforts.
