The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting reported Friday afternoon near 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. Officers were dispatched at about 1 p.m. to reports of a shooting and found a wounded person on the ground. The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
