Kanaka Rajan is an associate professor of neurobiology at Harvard University and founding faculty member at the Kempner Institute for the Study of Natural and Artificial Intelligence. Her research seeks to understand how important cognitive functions emerge from the cooperative activity of multi-scale neural processes. She has a degree in biotechnology from Anna University in India’s southernmost state, Tamil Nadu.
