The city of Las Vegas s will receive a $1.4 million grant to test out a new technology designed to make streets safer for pedestrians. The process for the grant is ongoing and the city anticipates that the technology will be in place and operational in early 2025. This will be a pilot program and the City plans to install the system in the tourist corridor around the Fremont Street area.
