Nigeria has the highest burden of TB in Africa and sixth highest burden globally. Under-nutrition and HIV remain the topmost drivers of the TB burden in Nigeria. Mr Pate highlighted the expansion of GeneXpert equipment – a rapid molecular test for TB.
