The St. Joseph County Assessor’s Office has been hosting town hall meetings over the last month regarding property assessment, the appeal process, and new features available to the public. Taxpayers wishing to contest their assessment must now do so on the state prescribed form, Form 130. The deadline to file an appeal is normally June 15.
