In observance of the Holy Week, the Philippine News Agency’s online news service will be off on March 29, Good Friday , and March 30, Black Saturday. Senator Sherwin Gatchalian made this remark as the country is set to commemorate March 29, 1994 as the day the Philippines was first connected to the internet. The DICT recently bared plans to double the number of free Wi-Fi sites in the country.
