Michael Simeone will oversee the city’s technology budget and help integrate technology initiatives across the city. As chief technology officer, he will also work with Superintendent Madeline Negron. His appointment follows a business email compromise last June in which hackers stole $5.9 million in city funds related to a New Haven Public Schools bus contract.
