AWS will invest $5.3 billion in Saudi Arabia and establish two innovation centres. The new AWS Region will allow businesses, organisations and start-ups to serve their customers by using Amazon's data centres within the kingdom. In 2023, Amazon launched an academy in the kingdom to support its efforts to train 30,000 Saudis.
