A geographic information system (GIS) is a system that creates, manages, analyzes and maps all types of data. The two exciting opportunities are the UM Student GIS scholarship and the Esri Young Scholar for Canada award. Eligibility: Graduate or undergraduate capstone/thesis students in any faculty at UM. You are encouraged to submit the report as an ArcGIS StoryMap.
