Dr James Manyika, the senior vice president of research, technology and society at Google, was born in 1965 in Zimbabwe. After graduating from the University of Oxford in England, Dr Manyika said he was a PE boy. Asked if the huge advances in technology, particularly AI, is going to wipe out jobs as is widely feared, he said there was nothing to be scared of.
