The Government of Jamaica has received a significant boost in its justice system thanks to a $30 million donation of stenography machines and laptops from Canada. The donation is facilitated through the Canadian-funded Social Justice Project (SO-JUST) aims to enhance the training and deployment of court reporters and transcriptionists, thereby improving the efficiency of legal proceedings.
