The Washington Post Wins First Place Award at Associated Press Sports Editors Contest

The Washington Post won two first-place awards at the annual Associated Press Sports Editors contest. The Post’s 13 finalists in writing, photography, section, digital and photography categories were the most among all publications in the A division. Dave Sheinin took top honors for short feature for his story on Brooks Robinson and his relationship to the city of Baltimore following his death.
