The Suns were simply wrong, but they were able to build their entire balance sheet around it. The 2011 Rockets had a top-five offense with Kevin Martin as their leading scorer. And that's the dilemma facing any team in the NBA right now. There is no obvious pivot or strategic approach that can fix this for the Suns. If they are healthy and whole next season, Phoenix will be a contender.
