Chicago is advancing its efforts to build a lakefront stadium just south of Soldier Field. The move builds materially on the Bears’ intent last month to stay in the city of Chicago after a lengthy tour of alternate options across the area suburbs. But this latest step does show the depth of the bears’ desire to hone in on this particular location.
