Ava Free hit a grand slam and the San Marin High softball team survived a late rally by Archie Williams in a 4-3 victory on Wednesday. The Mustangs (13-4, 9-3) put two runners on with one out but San Marin pitcher Taylor Testa turned a double play to end the game. Los Medanos pushed its win streak to 16 games.
