Joe Summa was cut from the Sacred Heart High boys basketball team in his first two years. He became a starting point guard on the Hearts’ junior varsity as a junior and was the starter on the former school’s 1967 Class A state championship. The 74-year-old is the ideal keynote speaker for a free community forum, “Sports – Unifying & Equalizing”.
