The Ottawa Sooners won their fourth Canadian junior football championship in seven years in 1974. In 1974, the Sooners defeated the Vancouver Meralomas 17-4 in Vancouver. The Ottawa Sport Hall of Fame announced Tuesday its class of 2024 inductees and honoured teams including the 1974 Sooners.
